  Day Celebration Begins. Drinks are served in the clubhouse.\n5:30 – Openi
 ng remarks from the Commodore\n5:50 – Blessing of the Fleet by Elizabeth S
 tevenson\n6:10 – Firing of the big cannon\n6:15 – Members to their boats\,
  Commodores\, dignitaries and members not on boats on the Main Wharf. An a
 wning/tent will be set up on the main wharf to provide shade.\n6:30 to 7:3
 0 – Sail Past will commence upon the firing of the little cannon.\nRKYC Me
 mber’s Day Sail Past Protocol\nThe Procedure:\nThe Sail Past takes place b
 y sailing along the outside of the main wharf. Sailboats are to\nbe sailed
  under main and jib alone. Auxiliary power may be used\, where available t
 o\nmaintain position and safety. In the event of calm winds\, smaller boat
 s and dinghies\nmay be towed.\nThe Reviewing Point is the middle of the ma
 in wharf.  The dispersal point for all boats\nparticipating in the Sail Pa
 st will be a reasonable distance beyond the Reviewing Point\nas determined
  by wind conditions.\nYachts are to proceed to the designated marshaling a
 rea and take station under\nthe direction of the Fleet Captain. The Commod
 ore will lead the fleet\, followed by the\nFlag Officers and the Past Comm
 odores followed by the Junior Sailing. The rest of the\nfleet should gener
 ally have the large sailboats leading\, power boats to tail. The Fleet\nCa
 ptain should be last. Departure from the marshaling area will be the weste
 rn or\neastern passage\, as determined by wind directions.\nYachts should 
 be sailed from the marshaling area to the Reviewing Point\, line-astern\,
 \nat 30-yard intervals. On approaching the Reviewing Point\, yachts salute
  from two\nboat lengths before the Reviewing Point to two boat lengths aft
 er.\nFor the Review itself\, lead yachts are to maintain a speed that allo
 ws following\nboats to keep in station. In favorable winds\, sails should 
 be set up so as not to exceed\nfour knots of speed.\nAn appropriate Salute
  consists of “dipping” the ensign
