Imagine all the warm places you’ve wanted to visit, since Covid struck, and haven’t been able to get to. Here is our chance. This whole wonderful week upriver, you can pick any cruise destination you want, and theme your boat and yourself to your choice. Make us guess your Caribbean location! How fun is that?

Or you can keep it simple and just cruise the river. No one is judging!! 😊

Saturday July 17.

Whelpleys Cove. We will have our Meet and Greet along with a wine tasting, once again made possible by Trafton Agencies. Paul Huestis has offered us the use of his dock, moorings and beach at Glenwood.

Wine choices TBD.

Sunday July 18.

We are off Queenstown, after a 9.30 meet at Paul’s to discuss the upcoming day. For all the big and small fishing aficionados, the fishing derby will take place and there will be wonderful fireworks display to close out the evening.

Monday July 19.

Another meet on the Wharf at 9.30 am and we are off to tranquil Swan Creek. Here begins your boat scavenger hunt, and radio trivia host DJ Jazzy Jeff Smith will keep you entertained. Details to follow! COVID permitting, we may be able to have a cocktail party.

Tuesday July 20

The ”tropical” island beach of Grimross awaits. The kids can amaze us again with the sculptures made out of sand, wood or what ever they can get their hands on. Other games and activities are on the agenda.

In the evening our Commodore will once again host the Commodore’s reception… just be careful of the Punch! The secret recipe always packs a punch 😉.

Wednesday July 21

Free day.

Do whatever your heart desires. Stay put, head to Gagetown or dip into Grand Lake.

Thursday July 22.

We are bound for Lawson Passage. Gulliver’s World Cafe will open just for the RKYC, for an exclusive dining experience. Their newly expanded dock is reserved for our dinghies only.

Registration and payment must be made in advance and will be collected by the Office. Limited seating.

Friday July 23

Lawson’s again because it’s such a beautiful spot and perfect for another repeat of the Paddle Board/Kayak race, and Flag game that was such a hit last year.

Scavanger hunt winner will be declared.

Here’s to another great cruise!
