Acceptance as a member of the RKYC is subject to payment of membership dues and approval by the RKYC Executive. The applicant acknowledges that information contained within this application may be circulated to the Executive for evaluation purposes.

Once membership is approved, your membership will continue, and you will be responsible for paying your dues, until the club is notified of your resignation in writing or via the online Member Resignation Form. Resignations must be received prior to May 1 of any given year or dues, as billed, will be due and payable.

New members are considered to be "on probation" for the first year. Please refer to the RKYC Club Regulations.

  • Associate Members may apply for berths/storage for large boats, but must upgrade to Senior Membership (and pay initiation fees if applicable) upon being assigned a berth and or land storage. A large boat is 19 feet feet and over or 99 HP or over.
  • Note: Senior Membership is required for seasonal berthage or winter storage for boats 19 feet or over in length and/or over 99 horsepower. Associate Members may keep boats at the club that are 99 horsepower or under and under 19 feet in length. Please submit a Marine Services Request form (below this form) if you are planning on keeping a boat at the club.

  • Volunteer efforts are an important part of how the RKYC is run. While not mandatory, volunteering helps the club keep service prices low and it's a great way to get to know your fellow members and be part of the community.

  • We estimate all the major billings during the plan period (one year +) and then divide them into monthly payments. Service charges will apply. The "debit" based MPP requires a voided check and the "credit card" based MPP requires a valid credit card number. The office will send you a contact to be filled out and signed. All payments become due upon resignation.
  • New Senior Members who have not paid the Initiation Fee in the past or were not Senior Members on April 15, 2020 are required to pay an initiation fee. It can be paid in full upon application (with a10% discount) or via two equal annual payments.
  • I have read and agree to abide by the applicable parts of the RKYC Club Regulations (below). Upon receipt of this application, you will be invoiced for your membership via email. Application to the club is not complete until payment has been made in full. INTERAC e-Transfer to office@rkyc.ca or visit/call the office at 506 632-0186 to provide payment. We accept checks, visa/mastercard or debit. Payment for Membership and Berthage is non refundable. Note: If you wish to keep a boat at the RKYC, please fill out a Marine Services Request Form (below).
