Special General Meeting Reminder
There is a Special General Meeting scheduled for tonight at 7:30 to discuss/decide the purchase of the Mary O, or another boat, that would be suitable for use as a committee boat for Racing, Learn to Sail and other club purposes. Attached are documents from the adhoc committee that was tasked with evaluating the available, suitable vessels. It also has the results, including the raw data, from the club survey that many club members took the time to fill out. Please find the page under wheelhouse on the club website. Fixture Card Photos and Advertising This year we are looking for photos taken by members for the cover page of the Fixture Card. Please send your favorite club related pictures to office@rkyc.ca, Maybe one of your photos will make the cover page. Runners up will be used throughout the Fixture Card and contributions will be acknowledged. This is also a good time to sign up for advertising in the fixture card. Advertisers get a spot in the Fixture Card and an ad on the club website with links to websites and social media. The club website receives 100’s of page views per day, so it is a great place to be to help your customers find you or to increase your search engine rankings. Media sizes can be found at RKYC Fixture Card Advertisers. Prices are very reasonable. Please contact the office at office@rkyc.ca if you are interested. Supper at the Clubhouse There is a Supper at the Clubhouse scheduled for this Thursday, June 2nd. The menu will be: APPS Assorted Salads Cold Platter Rolls MAINS Mixed BBQ with Steak, Sausage & Chicken BBQ Mussels DESSERTS Chefs Selection of Fine Desserts $38.00 Inclusive per person (Gratuity and Taxes Included) To make your reservations, please go to the Supper/Buffet Reservation System. Reservations close at 12:00 noon on Wednesday.
